Looking good is more than just the clothes that you wear. You have got to have a good hairdresser bristol if you are going to look your absolute best. Sure, the clothes that you wear will tell the world that sees you a bit about who you are, but if your hair does not look good, you will not look good.
My friend and I went to this new hairstylist about a month ago and we love what she did with our hair. I have always had pin straight hair that I did nothing with. Somehow, she was able to take my straight hair and make it look like the hair of a supermodel.
I sat down with a friend of mine today and went through some things he was thinking about. He knows a lady who is working for an optometrist, or she is a person who gives you eyeglasses after you go to the eye doctor. She was trying to talk him into helping her with a site where you can buy womens eyeglasses online. Of course the concept is quite simple, because there is a rather large mark up on many of these designer glasses. You have a lot of places where they seem to pay one price for the frames and then they turn around and double that when they sell them to you.
With the beginning of school just around the corner, I have to make my annual trek to the stores to pick up clothes for my kids. It is remarkable how much has changed in the last couple of years when it comes to this annual tradition.
When my son started school five years ago, you could not get him to sit still long enough to go into a store to shop for clothes. If he did go with you, he was always so wired that it was virtually impossible to find anything. My daughter was much more patient at first, but she was too hard to please. It was a shopping experience that I always dreaded.
However, in the last two or three years, something started to change. As they got a bit older, they started to take more interest in what they were wearing to school. Of course, a lot of this change is due to peer pressure, as kids want to dress a certain way in order to fit in. Continue reading
Mike is not that excited about his first day at the headstart program, but I am all over the place getting ready for it. It is pretty melancholy for me. On the one hand I will be happy to get back to work after the past four and a half years, but I am going to miss being with my baby boy. I am going to have to live without my daily dose of Dora the Explorer and Diego too. I hardly know how to talk to adults it seems. We definitely need a second income though and I am going to be able to work a flexible schedule that will allow me to pick him up in the afternoon.
Mike went with me to pick out the clothes for his first day in school. I had already done a lot of research on the internet, looking to get some things which would be good for a child his age without being too expensive. The child outgrows shoes every time you turn around and some times he leaves his shoes in places where you never think that you shall find them. So I did not want to spend a ton of money getting Mike the nicest things in the world when I knew that he would not be able to wear them in a mere couple of months. I am really hoping that all of the clothes that his aunts and I bought him will last the entire time he is in headstart, but that does not seem very likely. I did buy everything a bit bigger than it needed to be. He has to wear a belt and roll up the bottom of his tiny jeans. I think that they shall probably last for a good five months if I am lucky.
